How are Volunteers Trained?

After submitting a volunteer application and three references, volunteers need to register for a three-hour Orientation, dates listed below. For direct patient care, another course is required — Caring Angels — 4 hours. See Growing Volunteers Class Opportunities.

Requirements

Volunteers must complete:

• Application and References
• Orientation
• Two-tier TB testing
• Criminal Background Check
• Additional training for positions in which they wish to serve
